Fire-rated doors, locks and commercial door hardware
Entry and exit doors take more daily abuse than almost anything else in a building. Dynamo repairs commercial metal doors, frames and hardware, including fire-rated doors, for buildings, plazas and managed properties in Halton Hills, Toronto and the GTA.
That covers the door itself and the parts that make it work: closers, hinges, locks, handles, panic hardware and electric strikes.

Frequently asked questions
Can you replace a closer or hinge on a fire-rated door?
Yes. Closers, hinges, locks, handles and panic hardware are part of what we repair. Replacement parts need to suit the rated assembly, and a fire-rated assembly must keep its required rating after the repair.
What is an electric strike?
It is an electrically controlled part of the door frame that releases the latch so a door can be opened from a card reader, keypad or remote release. When one fails, the door may stay locked or fail to hold. We repair and replace electric strikes.
My door will not latch. What should I send you?
Photos of the door edge, latch and frame, and a short description of when it started. A door that does not latch is often a closer adjustment, a worn latch or a hinge or frame that has moved.
